If you want to save your website/blog’s traffic from image hotlinking, you should know how to protect your site from hostlinking, how to do it? You can set it as below step easy!

While Blogger and Flickr may allow you to hotlink and embed imagines hosted by them on your blog, you should not allow others to hotlink and embed images hosted on your server. Blogger and Flickr may have the resources to do it but you’ll want to save your resources for your blog only. You can prevent image hotlinking by adding the following code into your blog .htaccess file:

Change the domain to your blog and you’re set. The code will prevent the hotlinking of photos, musics, video or any other files you want to add.

As I search online, and find there are few reasons in which Google marks the web site as harmful site. Some of them are as follow:

1. If your web site pages are infected with malicious IFrame or JavaScript code. Generally, such Iframe and JavaScript codes link your web site to another maleware site.

2. Your site is hosting phishing page.

There are many reasons for JavaScript and Iframe code injection in your web sites.

1. If you have installed updated version of third party scripts, template, theme etc.

2. The tird party scripts which you are using in your web site are not secure.

3. Your FTP password is compromised.

4. The system from which you are managing your web site is infected by Maleware, Trojan, Spyware, Virus etc.

5. Insecure folder permissions set in your web site.

Ok, you can check your website as above list as soon as possible, because this reported will decrease your website traffic from Google search, and also can lost more old visitors.
